Accomodation
We recommend the hotel Teufelhof as the main Hotel for the 2024 AGI events, but we have reserved accommodations in two additional hotels in the center of the city which are in walking distance from each other, the 2024 AGI Open venue Stadtcasino Basel and the Campari Bar. The Campus of the Arts Basel, the venue of the 2024 AGI Congress, is a 15 minute tram ride away from the hotels listed hereafter. The hotels provide the BaselCard wich allows you to use public transportation (tram/bus) free of charge and gives you a reduction of 50% on the entry fee to any museum in Basel. The special booking rates are available from Saturday September 28 until Saturday October 5, 2024. Please book as indictaed below for each hotel by e-mail, phone or booking website. The hotel complex "Teufelhof Basel" consists of a hotel, theatre, Atelier Restaurant, Bel Etage restaurant, brewery, bar and coffee lounge as well as a wine cellar and lies in the heart of Basel's Old Town; in two historical townhouses from the 18th century. Basel’s Nomad Design and Lifestyle Hotel makes it's home in a classic 1950s apartment block, the first ever constructed in the city of Basel, whose distinctive concrete facade has been preserved. Motel One
The Design Hotel "Motel One" is located right in the centre of Basel’s Old Town on the Barfüsserplatz next to the Barfüsser Church and the Stadtcasino Basel, the venue of the 2024 AGI Open. Additional Hotels
The following three hotels are located between the Campus of the Arts Basel (venue AGI Congress) and the center of the city (venue AGI Open) along the tram line 11 and are suited as accommodations for the 2024 AGI events as well.
IBIS Budget Basel City, IBIS Styles Basel City and Novotel Basel City are located next to each other. They don't give a special booking discount for AGI members but may have lower bookings rates than the hotels indicated above.
